Paul Schmitter is a member of the ActiveAdvice consortium. Since 2016 he works as a research assistant in the competence group ‘Hospitality Management’ at the Institute for Facility Management (IFM) at the ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Facility Management and is currently completing his master's degree in FM. As a research assistant at the IFM, he works different Active and Assisted Living (AAL) projects and is currently involved in the two EU projects ActiveAdvice and iCareCoops. Furthermore, as part of his master's thesis, his interest is in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications for FM. In particular, he is dedicated to the topic of integrating intelligent personal assistants (IPAs) in Swiss hospitals.
